The brief for this penthouse apartment, within a larger commercial project, was for an urbane city dwelling with large spaces, commanding views, lots of sun, and a seamless transition to outdoor living.

The philosophy was to create a strong, coherent, contemporary landscape at the top of the building. This was achieved by minimising the solid walls, inserting joinery elements with a common language throughout, and extending the living space out to a large north-facing outdoor room.

The challenging needs of the client have been accommodated with precise cabinetry that has been put together with a restrained palette of bold materials: black oak veneer, green tinted glass and in-situ concrete.
