OFFICE CAMPUS I

HMA was engaged by the client to assist CCM Architects in the Resource Consent process to redevelop a 1950’s office building incorporating an adjacent empty site.  Our participation involved collaboration to rework the new additions relative to the historic rated neighbouring timber pub and to present the proposal to all interested parties using our Revit software. 

A series of possible solutions were quickly examined and discussed with the various parties involved.  The proposals were reworked and the client gained a Non-notified Resource Consent.  CCM proceeded with Detail Design and construction is underway at present.

The result was a delicate balance between a large modern office development, the historic pub, neighbouring apartments and urban streetscape requirements of the Wellington City Planners.
