SCENARIO

Scenario, a brand strategy and development company based in Wellington and Auckland, commissioned HMA to design the fit out of new Wellington offices. 

Located within an existing warehouse tenancy, the new Scenario fit out had to reflect the brand aspirations of the brand-makers themselves.  To achieve this, and provide the working environment that the client needed, office functions have been arranged to allow maximum transparency with the minimum of solid partitions.  Containment and privacy are provided via carefully placed white lacquered joinery elements and glass screens that contrast with the heavy building fabric. 

A café area is central to the space, enabling informal meetings and interactions amongst and between staff and clients: formal meetings have their own separate glazed room.  The composition of the whole is controlled by a carefully lit entry element.
