SOUP FASHION RECOVERY This fit out for a high-end recycled fashion outlet is located in the character area of Blair Street, Courtenay Place. The shop is set down from the street at basement garage level with the primary design issues being access, maximising space and natural light. There was also a desire to retain some of the existing, raw finishes of brick and concrete to the floor, walls and ceilings. A simple palette of materials consisting of white laquered wall panels, black panel joinery, glass and steel elements, has been layered over the existing fabric. Visual connections, from both street level in and the shop floor out, have ensured a positive working and display environment with plenty of natural light. |
